The process to build your dream home begins with the owner
of Shuswap Log Homes selecting only the finest quality building logs. The minimum top sizes are 11” to 12” and butt ends are maximum
16” to 18”. The logs are transported to our building site and hand-peeled or
power planned.
From your custom or standard designed plan, your home starts to
take shape. We use the Scandanavian scribe method with a 4-point saddle notch.
Finally the house is ready to be moved and setup on your foundation, anywhere in the world. The owner and an experienced 1 or 2 man
crew will oversee the re-assembly of the house, assuring the final product will reflect your dream design. It is now ready for your final personal finishing touches to make your dream of a log
